caveat: Guenon’s traditionalism is slanted in favor of abrahamic religion and, though having its value, should be read with discernment to sort out the confusion of Abrahamism/magianism. For criticism of Guenon see ‘Against Traditionalism’ and ‘Criticism of Rene Guenon’
Rene Guenon
This collection brings together all of René Guénon’s writings for the journal La Gnose between November 1909 and February 1912, when it ceased publication, under the pseudonym Palingénius. He was also the editor, and his contributions in that capacity were signed “La Direction” (Management). The articles are arranged chronologically, and those produced by “La Direction” have also been included in the same way, as some of them contain doctrinal information of interest to researchers. Articles relating to the collaborative project “L’Archéomètre” (The Archeometer), even if they are not openly signed by René Guénon, are also included, as we know that he participated in it with other collaborators, as evidenced by his private correspondence.
