Carlos Rogat Salas, aka. Sri Raaknahaif
This is one of the remaining parts of the work of the maestro of Miguel Serrano of which 5 parts exist.
During the Second World War, Miguel Serrano was introduced to the Thi-u-Hin Order and initiated into it. Miguel Serrano was deeply impressed after meeting Master Rogat. Over the years, they forged a relationship of mutual admiration and respect, and Miguel Serrano came to be regarded by Master Rogat as the most enlightened of his disciples.
According to Miguel Serrano’s memoirs, it was Master Rogat who urged him to apply for a post at the Chilean embassy in India and later in Austria. He cherished his memory until the day he died, with utter loyalty, and in 1974 wrote the most beautiful words ever dedicated to a master by his disciple:
“Master, I revere and love you. I have lived all your Myths and Legends; I have made them my own, and with them I have travelled the length and breadth of this world. When you die, you will continue to live within me; you will be laid to rest in my breast, and there you will remain until I, too, die. And when I die, you will live on in those who carry on my legacy, who offer me their hearts as my tomb, in this rite of eternal love…”
