Hector Barreto
Héctor Barreto (February 10, 1917 – August 23, 1936) was one of the greatest short story writers in Chilean literature. Authentic artist, he became a figure-symbol of the Generation of ’38, who in his nineteen years of existence left a deep mark on all those who knew him and on those of us who read his unparalleled stories. Barreto was a friend of the esoteric Hitlerist Miguel Serrano.
